1564 - Shakespeare was born on the 23rd of April
- He went to a school in Stratford until the age of 14- (1578)
1582 - Married Anne Hathaway.
1583 - First daughter of William Shakespeare, Susanna, was born.
1585 - Twins Hamnet and Judith were born.
1592 - Shakespeare left his home in Stratford to work in London theatres.
1593 - Shakespeare wrote ' The Sonnets'.
1594 - Shakespeare joined the Lord Chamberlain’s Men.
1595 - Shakespeare wrote ' Romeo and Juliet' and ' A Mid Summer Night's Dream'.
1598 - The London theatres closed because of the bubonic plague (the Black Death).
1596 - Hamnet, Shakespeare's son, dies from an unknown cause at the age of 11.
1598 - Shakespeare and a group of men discussed the finances of building a Globe theatre.
1599 - The Globe Theatre was built
- The first ever play in the Globe Theatre took place (Julius Ceasar).
1613 - The Globe Theatre burned to the ground.
1614 - The Globe Theatre 2, is built and opened.
